Although most of you have been using your time to finish up SBAs, projects, studying and attending all those extracurricular activities, TEENage thinks it may just be time for a break. This is a relatively slow weekend, but none the less TEENage has two events that you can check out.

Velocity

Happening this Friday, the Lawless Kiids Foundation will be hosting their first event -- Velocity. Under the theme, The Official Pre-Champs High School Social for 2010, the event will be held at the YMCA Auditorium -- Speedville from 3:00 pm. to 10:00 pm.

Under the direction of their parent group Lawless Events, the Lawless Kiids Foundation is expected to bring to the table events that are as good as those of their parent group. Mainly being hosted as a charity event, admission is free with a can item or $200 at the gate.

All proceeds are to be split to aid both Haiti and the YMCA. Come out to have some fun with friends as well as to help those in need.

Fun in the Son

After the Best Dressed 50 Fest last year, Fun in the Sun has returned. With the official launch at Church on the Rock last month, this years staging will definitely be sending praises up from the grounds of Jamaica College on Saturday March 20 starting at 10am. Headlined by international gospel artiste Kirk Franklin, the event will also feature Carlene Davis, Goddy Goddy, DJ Nicholas and Omari. Come out early and enjoy the full family experience, then be sure to stay for the great concert.
