LAST Tuesday, the contestants of the Chillin' Flavoured Water Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen 2012 were treated to a fun day at the Caribbean's premier water attraction, Kool Runnings Adventure Park.
Taking a break from their hectic rehearsal schedule, the girls used the time to frolic, and frolic they did. At Kool Runnings, the girls wasted no time to get on the amazing water slides.
Later in the afternoon, the vivacious Kool Running's MC by the poolside engaged the patrons with a variety of activities and games.
Some lucky contestants also won prizes from mini competitions they entered. Activities included the Hoola Hoop competition of which Nascine Morris (Miss Torpedo Investment) emerged the winner.
Other games included musical chairs, which was won by both Jody Ann Elliot (Miss Spanish Grain Store) and Jewel Richards (Miss JUTA Kingston). The activities ended with a 'guess the theme song' competition which was won by Danielle Barrett (Miss Black Opal Cosmetics) who guessed all of 10 theme songs of popular movies.
The contestants had a fulfilled day and were reluctant to leave the fun behind. After saying their goodbyes it was time to journey back home.
The pageant's activities will resume after the Independence celebrations leading up to the grand coronation show on Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Louise Bennett Garden Theatre starting at 7:00 pm.
The winner from the Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented TEEN pageant will travel to St Kitts in December to represent Jamaica in the Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented TEEN Pageant.
