Teenage
Teen Chef: Summer Snacks
with Gavin Plowright
Tuesday, June 05, 2012
SO now summer is upon us and most of us will be doing is sitting at home all day, eating, sleeping and watching television.
The truth of the matter is that since we are out of school, our parents may not be as sympathetic and have breakfast ready for us when we wake in the mornings, or any snack for that matter.
So, TEENChef will be making sure that those of us who may not be culinary inclined do not die of hunger or when our parents return home from work, they do not have to worry that you are dying of hunger.
These are easy, quick and convenient summer foods that anybody can make and still have a tasty meal throughout the summer.
The Mini Bagel Pizza is exceptionally enjoyable to make and
eat because you can experiment with it and put any topping of your choice. It will turn your home into your personal pizza joint.
Feel free to try these ingredients and to put your little twist to them… ENJOY!!!!
Mini Bagel Pizza Ingredients
1 pack bagel (plain or herb flavoured)
1 small can tomato sauce
1/4 oz basil (dried)
1/4 oz oregano (dried)

• Adding the cheese on two different layers ensures that the toppings adhere to the crust without falling off.
• Lining your baking tray with aluminum foil helps with easy cleanup afterwards.
