About TEENage

TEENage is a youth publication in the Tuesday Observer that is prepared by teen writers and contributors, who are members of the TEENage Writers' Club. Educational while entertaining, TEENage presents information that Jamaica's youth value as relevant to their age group and life experiences. The teenagers who write for TEENage give the Club's view through TEENEditorial, while contributions and letters submitted by teens from across the island reflect the values, concerns and hopes of Jamaica's youth. Other popular weekly segments include TEENEntertainment, TEENReligion, TEENSports, TEENVideo Reviews and, of course, TEENFashion. TEENInterviews allows the readers to meet bright young achievers and profiles of the popular, talented and trendy.

It is from this concept of teen views on teen issues that the TEENage Choice Awards was born. The TEENage Choice Awards gives teenagers 13-19years of age the opportunity to vote for the things that shape their lifestyle including fashion, sports, music and food. It’s the teenage vote that counts.
