We made these products because... we wanted to create a more elevated tea experience for Jamaicans with premium, locally handcrafted tea and Tisane blends.

Our major challenge right now is... trying to keep up with the demand. I am the sole tea blender and teas are done in small batches. I'm trying to find someone now to train in tea preparation and serving at events. We are also trying to scale the business now and raise capital to expand operations and open a tearoom in the near future.

The products became available to the public in... July 2017.

And are available at... the gift shop at Hedonism II and Wine With Me in Negril and online at likkletea.com.

The response to the product has been... overwhelming! While we are a big tea-drinking country, many people still think of tea as something to drink to soothe an ailment or to 'buss gas', to use the colloquial term. Locally blended loose-leaf tea is something fairly new on the market and I have been blessed to have the best customers who talk about Likkle Tea every chance they get.

Our first breakthrough came when... we realised that most of the secondary botanicals used in tea blends worldwide could be found right here in Jamaica. To that end, my family began growing (on a small scale) herbs and fruits used in most of our blends.

Jamaicans should support our products because... you're not just buying another tea, you're treating yourself to a better tea experience with our culture at the core of it. Likkle Tea is a quality product and we're told by tea enthusiasts far and wide that it is on par with first-world products. Since we began, more and more persons have started to think of tea differently through our wide variety of blends which were not available on the local market. The joy of tea is something that I want to share with more Jamaicans, and Likkle Tea is the medium by which I've chosen to do so.
