MBJ Airports Limited (MBJ) operators of the Sangster International Airport, is reviewing over 800 applications from students hoping for one the 12 positions available under its summer employment programme.
"These successful students will assist with and learn more about the operations at the primary international gateway to Jamaica, Sangster International Airport," said Elizabeth Scotton, MBJ's chief commercial officer.
Applications for the eight to 10-week summer programme, which is expected to begin on June 29, ended yesterday.
Scotton said the summer programme forms part of her organisation's commitment to assisting the development of young people.
MBJ, she noted, will review all the applications over the next few days, after which time successful applicants will be advised.
