DUMFRIES, St James — FAMILY members of 89-year-old Joslyn 'Fudgie' Barrett, who went missing from his Caanan home in St James a month ago, are still hopeful for his safe return.

"We are offering a reward to anyone who can assist us in his return," Barrett's grandson, Zemroy Senior, told the Observer West on behalf of the family.

Barrett, who lived alone in Caanan, Dumfries, has been reported missing since August 20.

He was last seen on Barnett Street in St James on the same day and has not been seen since.

Barrett is of dark complexion, about 173 centimetres tall and of a medium build.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Adelphi Police Station at 912-1026, police emergency number (119) or the nearest police station.
