The late Daniel 'Cheese' Foote, former St James High player seen here in a ISSA daCosta Cup Zone A game against Cornwall College two years ago, died last week in New York after suffering a rare form of cancer.
Foote who was 19 -years- old in March this year, injured his arm while playing football two years ago and after complaining of persistent pain, he went to the doctor where it was discovered he had cancer in his upper left arm. The cancer eventually spread to his lungs.
