Chair of Hanover Charities Katrin Casserly (front, right) and board member Dr Candace Hart (front, left), share lens time with recipients of the Hanover Charities scholarship programme during a luncheon hosted recently by Casserly at her Kempshot residence in St James.
For the past10 years, Hanover Charities has offered scholarships at the tertiary level covering a number of specialist fields to needy students.
According to Casserly, last year was a record for the programme as some 95 students attained their dream of higher education through donations raised primarily at the annual Sugar Cane Ball.
