MONTEGO BAY, St James - Paradise FC brought the St James Football Association's club season to a exciting close last Wednesday, when they defeated Copperwood FC to win the Guardian Life Division Two title.
In the return leg final played at the UDC field, Kevin Jarrett scored twice in the first half to lead Paradise FC to a 3-0 win and a 4-1 aggregate.
Paradise now joins Norwood Strikers, the Senior League champions and Reggae Youths, the Division One champions as trophy winners in St James this season.
Both Paradise FC and Copperwood will be promoted to the Division One next season.
After playing out a 1-1 draw the previous week, Paradise FC who were in their second season in the competition, jumped out to an early lead last week Wednesday, when Jarrett scored twice in the space of three minutes in the first half. He netted in the 29th and 31st minutes.
Second half substitute Shane James scored within minutes of coming on the field in the 87th minute to secure the win for the Karsten Walker coached Paradise.
