Russia FC, Petersfield win

LLANDILO, Westmoreland - Zone B teams Russia FC and Petersfield FC were winners on Monday as the return round of the Westmoreland Football Association's Captain's Bakery Major League got under way with three games.

Russia, Petersfield and Paul Island all scored their second win over Chantilly Forever, Rock House and Negril respectively.

Russia won 3-2 at Llandilo to improve to 14 points at the top of the zone, one point ahead of Petersfield who beat Rock House 4-0 in Negril.

Paul Island who had won 1-0 in the first round improved to 2-0 on Monday and moved to nine points, tied with Chantilly Forever.

The league continues today with three Zone A games, leaders Sandals Whitehouse will host Mt Grace at Bay Road; Extra Flex and Race Course will meet at Little London, while Straths and Roaring River who drew 2-2 in the first round will meet at Llandilo.
