Savannah FC, Wadadah FC make mid- season final

FROME, Westmoreland - The mid-season final of the Jamaica Football Federation's Captain's Bakery and Grill Western Confederation's Super League between Savannah FC and Wadadah FC will be played on Sunday at the Frome Sports Club after being postponed from Tuesday.
The leaders of their respective zones after home and away fixtures were due to meet in the decider earlier this week.
But a release from the organisers on Monday said the game was rescheduled as it was believed that more supporters would turn out for the game if it is played on the weekend.
Wadadah won Zone A with 18 points, just one more than Catherine Hall with Granville a further point back, while Savannah FC were easy winners in Zone B, tallying 21 points, six more than Tomorrow's People and Harmony- both tied on 15 points each.
The third round that will be played on a cross zone is set to get underway next weekend with the top four teams on points at the end of the competition advancing to the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Gregory Tape of Tomorrow's People and Andre Barrett of Catherine Hall are tied on six goals each at the top of the scoring tables.
Bamboo's Nathan Lee and Gavin Seaton of Jericho Rangers are next on five each.
