MONTEGO BAY, St James - FAVOURITES Spot Valley High and William Knibb Memorial High, both first-time finalists, will meet at the Montego Bay Cricket Club tomorrow at 4:00 pm to decide the champions in the ISSA/KFC Western Conference Girls Open basketball competition.

William Knibb just edged three-time defending champions and national champions Muschett High and Herbert Morrison for the spot in the final on the second tiebreaker, after all three finished with almost identical statistics.

The three teams ended with 16 points from six wins and four losses and after each had won once and lost once against each other, a second tiebreaker was necessary to decide who would play Spot Valley who had topped the points tables with 19 points.

Spot Valley, who will be led by national senior representative and reigning national MVP Loretta Gordon, will start favourites to win their first sports title at this level.

If William Knibb can find a way to contain the talented Gordon and get points from Kedine Thompson, they would put themselves in a good position to lift the title.
