Bishop of Jamaica and Cayman Islands Reverend Dr Howard Gregory (left) receives a gift from Christine Davidson, secretary of the Montego Bay region of the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, during last Sunday's appreciation service for him and his wife Charmaine, at the St James Parish Church in Montego Bay.
Dr Gregory had served the Montego Bay region for almost 11 years as Bishop, before he was elevated to the post of Anglican Lord Bishop of Jamaica and Cayman Islands earlier this year.
During the service Dr Gregory was lauded for establishing the St James Parish Church steel band; a grief support group; a cancer support group, as well as a number of educational programmes.
And in his remarks, Dr Gregory expressed concern about the steady decline in the membership of the church and urged members to make the necessary changes to boost attendance.
