Cool Wave trump Fighter Jet in western domino tourney

Falmouth Gardens Cool Wave trumped Premier League champions Fighter Jet (300-274) at Carey Park last Sunday as the Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum Western Jamaica domino competition continued.

The massive upset saw will boost Cool Wave's morale to meet Dynasty at Falmouth Gardens in the fourth round of the competition on Sunday.

Other exciting Zone A matches saw unbeaten leaders Tuff Gong beating Palm Court by 298 points (300 - 298); Strike Force (also unbeaten) beating Retrieve by 80 points (300 - 220); Unity Strikers beating Tropical Rhythms by 19 points(300-281) and Assassin beating High Grade by 23 points (300-277).

Zone B action also saw Uptown beating Dynasty by 13 points (300-287); Deeside Untouchables beating Star International by 5 points (300-295) and Tornadoes beating Rainbow by 29 points (300-271).

This week Strike Force will will take on Palm Court at Barnett Street and Tuff Gong will take on Assassin at Union Street. High Grade will play Tropical Rhythms at Green Island and Unity Strikers will play Retrieve at St Simons. In Zone B, Fighter Jet will meet Uptown at Carey Park; Morning Star will meet Tornadoe in Clarks Town and Rainbow will meet Star International at Duncans.

Deeside Untouchables will be resting this week.
