With millennial influencers like the Kardashians, a large demographic of people born after the 80s are turning towards beauty trends to receive the Instagram look with treatments to restore facial volume for sculpted cheeks, younger-looking eyes, a rounder derrière, and the all-time celebrity body glow.

SCULPTED CHEEKS

This can be achieved non-surgically with cosmetic fillers. Attractive cheekbones are an important element of facial beauty. Well-defined cheeks create balance, improve the facial profile, and are a symbol of youth. Some people are frustrated because their cheeks have never been well-contoured, while many others have lost facial volume with age and would like to restore fullness for a more youthful appearance. With dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm, no matter what the reason for cheek enhancement, improvement is possible.

Dermal fillers are FDA-approved products made with naturally occurring substances. They are injected beneath the skin in the targeted areas using a very fine needle. Once the filler substance has been injected, it plumps up the skin from beneath, filling wrinkles or augmenting facial features such as the cheeks. People often combine dermal fillers with Botox for more complete facial enhancement.

The results can last from several months to over a year, depending upon the specific filler used. Treatment is repeatable to ensure continued improvement, and fine adjustments can be made with each procedure.

YOUNGER EYES

Look younger and more rested with dermal fillers!

Dark circles and bags are common cosmetic concerns – yet, until recently, effective treatment proved elusive. Nowadays, new advances in aesthetic medicine offer clients a minimally invasive solution: dermal fillers.

Depending on the cause and each individual's anatomy, dark circles (indentations) and/or bags can appear. These can be caused by multiple factors. In most individuals, the skin directly under the eyes is so thin that the muscle and blood vessels can be seen more clearly. This is why almost all of us have some degree of darkness under the eyes.

As we age, the skin grows even thinner and we lose the natural insulating layer of fat beneath our skin. This causes underlying structures, like fat, to become more pronounced. What looks like puffiness that has appeared beneath the eyes is actually the fat that has always been there, which is now more visible due to thinning and hollowing in the area. This can be worsened by inadequate cheekbone projection.

The traditional approach to bags has been to remove the fat; however, this only increases the “skeletonised” appearance. The new approach is to restore the insulating layer with fillers, which add volume and hydration. This smooths out indentations and bags and the shadows that they create. Using fillers to improve cheek projection provides additional support to the area for an improved under-eye appearance.

Results appear immediately and will generally last anywhere from six months to a year, depending on the filler used. The treatment can be repeated regularly to maintain attractive results.

Some common injection-related reactions such as edema, swelling, bruising, pain, itching, discoloration, and tenderness at the injection site may occur.

BUTTOCK SCULPTING

Buttock sculpting non-surgically uses state-of-the-art vacuum therapy paired with ultrasound cavitation or radiofrequency. The use of the cavitation device helps to break up the fat pockets, making the fat more soluble to transfer and lift, while the radiofrequency device helps to tighten the skin and restore collagen. This is done in upward movement to lift and reposition the fat cells for a more sculpted, toned look. Millennial influencers have started a trend that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. The look of a fuller, tighter bottom helps to enhance how a woman looks in clothes, and coupled with a tiny waist, will look very attractive!

Results of buttock sculpting

• A more pronounced hourglass figure.

• Tighter, toned appearance to the buttocks, lower hips and buttock creases.

• Improvement of buttock skin surface irregularities (fewer dimples and sags).

• A more lifted buttock appearance.

• Fuller, more rounded buttocks with a shapely curvature.

BODY GLOW

With all the Instagram and Snapchat filters giving the illusion of flawless skin, millennials are flocking to spas to achieve that look. The quickest and most effective way to be instantly flawless is with a spray tan or the newly dubbed “Body Glow”.

Spray tanning is a form of self-tanning (or sunless tanning) where a fine mist is sprayed onto your body. This mist has an ingredient in it called dihydroxyacetone that interacts with your own skin's chemistry to turn it tan or bronze (if you are fair-skinned).This temporary effect generally lasts up to 30 days and is completely safe for your skin. The results you can get from tanning sprays are generally very good. Many celebrities and models prefer spray tanning to just about anything else to get the colour they want.

Benefits of the Body Glow

• Hides imperfections, stretch marks and blemishes

• Nourishes and moisturises
