Bounty Killer back home

JAMAICAN dancehall deejay Bounty Killer returned home yesterday after a Trinidadian High Court ruled Monday evening that his passport should be returned to him.

Justice Prakash Moosai revoked the order made by Magistrate Maureen Baboolal-Gafoor on Monday that his confiscated passport should be held by the police, pending his trial on charges of using obscenities while performing at the Queen’s Park Savannah on Saturday.

Bounty Killer, whose real name is Rodney Pryce, is required, however, to return to Port of Spain on October 31 for his November 1 trial.

Yesterday, the Jamaican deejay told the Trinidadian media that despite his experience, he had “nothing but love” for Trinidadians and promised to return to do a free concert later this year.
