Sunset at the Palms Resort & Spa Where the customer is indeed KING
A recent visit to Sunset at the Palms Resort & Spa Negril afforded many jaw-dropping moments. We can certainly wax infinitum about the truly chic and serene “Treehouse-style” guestrooms. But it is the service afforded by everyone we encountered that truly lingers. One individual that had us talking all the way back to Kingston was the dining room attendant DeWayne Wright. Of note is the fact that he was the sole waiter on duty. His cheerful disposition, positive body language and willingness to go the extra mile for every guest at breakfast that morning earn him Thursday Food’s title ‘Customer Service King of the Week’. “I’m in an environment that stresses that the customer is king,” he declared, “plus I love my job.”
No idle boast. we also encountered the super-caring Sharon Powell and Andrew Foga.
Angels ‘One Stop Location’
IF you’re heading out to Trelawny for cricket you’ll certainly want to know that you’re able to stock up on hot, delicious Tastee patties (beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables) at Angels Plaza, St Catherine and get some gas too for the car at Uni-Pet Gas Station. There’s more however, on offer at what’s been dubbed Angels ‘One Stop Location’ as there’s a convenience store (think 7/11) that offers from pharmaceutical items to home-care products and auto accessories.
The drive-through quick-service opens daily from 7:00 am-10:00 pm.
