Visit the Montego Bay Business Lounge at Half Moon Hotel

There are no boundaries to where you may talk business, but the Montego Bay Chamber and Jamaica Trade & Invest (formerly JAMPRO), are leaving nothing to chance. We feel strongly that it is the development in the western region that will ultimately drive Jamaica’s economic future. Hence, both organisations have teamed up to create a Business Lounge for potential investors to access information on investment opportunities for the western region. The importance of this marketing opportunity cannot be over-emphasised.

Avid cricket fans who want to conduct business while in Jamaica for CWC 2007, or simply network with key executives, are welcome to do so in the lounge which opened on Saturday March 3rd at shop #10 in the Half Moon Shopping Complex.

We are encouraging local business persons who want to meet with international counterparts and explore trade prospects, or exchange business ideas, to take advantage of this opportunity.

Jamaica Trade & Invest, through its Jamaica Investment Attraction Programme (JIAP) has targeted key leads for investment and trade in new and emerging markets like India and Australia, and have invited them to be part of its hosting programme.

Additionally, all the hotels have been asked to inform their guests that they can visit the Business Lounge and obtain information on doing business in Jamaica and set up meetings with counterpart business executives from Jamaica.

Open daily from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm from March 3-15, the Montego Bay Business Lounge, which is right next to the Royal Stocks Pub in the complex, will give guests access to the Internet and an appropriate, relaxing environment in which to conduct meetings. This is the perfect vehicle for entrepreneurs and corporations ready to team up with global and regional partners to tap into the Caribbean’s wealth of business opportunities, of which there is no shortage.
