Car salesman found dead after test drive
SANTA CRUZ, St Elizabeth – The decomposing body of a 41 year-old car salesman, Leaford Breary, who has been missing since March 23, was found yesterday in Lower Warminster, close to Myersville in South-East St Elizabeth.
An on-the-spot post-mortem revealed that Breary died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Police say the body was found about 10:00 am and followed the discovery of his wallet containing his identification card by residents of Lower Warminster on Monday.
Police say Breary, who worked for an auto sales firm in Santa Cruz and lived in May Day, Manchester, went missing after taking a prospective buyer for a test drive on March 23.
The car Breary was attempting to sell was subsequently found in Manchester and two people, whom the police yesterday declined to name, were later taken into custody.
