JTA investment seminar on today
The Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA) will wrap up its annual series of investment seminars at the Holiday Inn and Sunspree resort in Rosehall today.
The seminar, which is expected to start at 9:00 am, will see representatives of several financial entities making presentations about investments and savings options.
According to Garfield Higgins, the JTA’s public relations officer, one of the main objectives of the seminar is to encourage teachers to make the most of their resources through these options.
Five financial institutions are expected to be represented at the seminar.
They are Guardian Asset Management, Capital and Credit Merchant Bank, the National Commercial Bank, the JTA’s cooperative credit union and the Victoria Mutual Building Society.
