Are the party crowds in the west anything to go by?
Tuesday’s nomination day exercise was characterised by large colourful crowds, marching bands, cheerleaders, mascots, and other carnival accessories in the western parishes of Trelawny, St James, Hanover and Westmoreland.
However how much of an indicator were the crowds which accompanied the 38 candidates covering the 11 constituencies?
And now that the candidates are in place for the August 27, polls, how will they conduct themselves on the final leg of the campaign?
