Call us, says MoBay Chamber
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Pauline Reid, the president of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, yesterday told the business community of the second city to use her organisation as a link to access assistance from the relevant agencies in the event that Hurricane Dean hits.
“We have been attending the disaster preparedness meetings and will play a supporting role to the relevant agencies and persons needing our assistance,” said Reid in a release yesterday.
Urging the business community to make every effort to safeguard property and stock up on emergency supplies, Reid said that her organisation would have the relevant agencies correct any critical situations that were potentially disasterous.
“Please call us at (876) 817-1946,” she said.
