Kingston’s Kic Bac
The Kic Bac Jazz Bar and Grill, located at 94 M Old Hope Road, is the latest addition to Kingston’s still burgeoning nightlife.
“We were going for an intimate setting,” says Kic Bac proprietor Annette Carrington-Jackson of the recently opened spot. The new lounge has a seating capacity of 200 and features rustic al fresco dining on the deck and an inside bar.
“We are hoping to attract working professionals,” adds Carrington-Jackson, “it’s an easy place to come on a Friday night. the tabletops are outfitted with backgammon, chess and checker boards.”
The fare is easy too since the menu lists Kic Bac’s signature Aiodeja – roast yam and saltfish – roast fish, chicken wraps and grilled ribs.
The Kic Bac space is available for private functions, Carrington-Jackson tells Foodie News outlining that patrons will enjoy themselves in a safe environment since the chill spot is always adequately secured and constantly monitored by King Alarm.
There is even an after Mas Camp lyme that will run throughout the carnival season.
“The mantra here is what happens at Kic Bac never happened, so just imagine how at ease patrons will be,” adds Carrington-Jackson.
