Unique Ballers of Trelawny take on Naldi Lady Knights

Defending champions Unique Ballers of Trelawny could extend their winning record to three straight on Saturday when they take on the impressive Naldi Lady Knights in the first of two Western Basketball Association’s Female League games at the Montego Bay Cricket Club on Saturday.
Unique is coming off their second win in a row on Saturday, turning back Innercity Lady Avalanche 68-46 and should be able to take care of the Naldi Lady Knights today.
Naldi Lady Knights lost their only game played so far, going down to Lady Avalanche but is expected to make Unique work for their win.
In the other game Saturday, Lady Avalanche will seek to rebound from their loss when they take on MoBay Pacers starting 7:00 pm.
Last weekend, Unique controlled the game from the start and continued to build on their lead with each passing quarter. Led by a game high 23 points and seven rebounds from Tracey-Ann Kelly, Unique led 10-6 after the first quarter and was up 26-16 at the half time break and 49-30 after three quarters. In addition to Kelly, Zandria Dell scored 17 points while Dezan McLennon also score din double -digits with 12 points.
The consistent Nicole Dias scored 20 points for Lady Avalanche, Ladonna Lamonth scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Suzette Virgo had 16 rebounds to go with her five points, five assists and three steals.
