Audley Shaw announces new Air Jamaica board
MINISTER of Finance Audley Shaw has announced a new 5-member board for national carrier Air Jamaica, to oversee its divestment.
Led by ICWI Group chairman Dennis Lalor, the board also includes: Christopher Zacca, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister; Wayne Henry, Special Adviser to the Minister of Finance; Sancia Templer, President of Jamaica Trade and Invest (JTI); and Christopher Berry, Chairman of Mayberry Investments.
An Air Jamaica transition management committee has also been established, to be by Bruce R Nobles, Air Jamaica President and Chief Executive Officer.
Shaw thanked outgoing chairperson Shirley Williams and her fellow board members now that their term has expired.
The new appointments became effective on Tuesday of last week.
