Paul Island, Mt Grace into ML round final
PAUL ISLAND, Westmoreland — Paul Island and Mt Grace will meet in tomorrow’s first End-of-Round Final in the Captain’s Bakery Westmoreland Major League after contrasting wins in rescheduled games on Monday to top their respective zones.
Mt Grace topped Zone A with 11 points, one more than Extra Flexx after blanking Dunbar’s River 3-0 at Blackness Oval, while Paul Island went on a goalscoring spree, hammering Chantilly Gardens 10-1 to top Zone B with 13 points.
These games were originally scheduled for mid-December but were postponed due to bad weather.
