Exclusive vodka, beer sponsorships for Bacchanal
Smirnoff vodka has partnered with Bacchanal Jamaica as the exclusive vodka, and title sponsor of Beach J’Ouvert while Heineken has signed on as the official beer of the series of events.
The Diageo brands will host revellers in a two-tiered bar and club at the Mas Camp for the duration of Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival 2010 in keeping with the theme, Bacchanal Treasures. Both brands will have sponsored groups, adding their signature energy and excitement to the road march.
According to Marsha Lumley, brand manager Smirnoff, the brands will be adding their own unique flavour to the annual carnival event.
“We will have specially formulated cocktails with Smirnoff Vodka and all three Smirnoff flavours throughout Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival. The mixes will entice the palate and easy to replicate at home,” Ms Lumley said.
“This year is particularly exciting for our brands. Evey Friday at the Mas Camp soca lovers will have the opportunity to purchase one inclusive band which allows them to enjoy both Smirnoff and Heineken throughout the night,” she added.
Speaking at the launch held at the Knutsford Court Hotel on Wednesday, Lumley emphasised the fact that Bacchanal Carnival 2010 will provide the perfect opportunity to excite consumers with new, spontaneous and fun-filled experiences.
“Over the years Heineken and Smirnoff have partnered with many events which have set the standard on the party scene. The brands are known the world over for bringing innovative and original entertainment encounters to its events,” Lumley added.
Smirnoff is the title sponsor of Beach J’Ouvert, which takes place on April 9. Each Friday up until the April 7, Mas Camp will be abuzz with carnival activity in preparation for the big event, the road march.
Now in its 22nd year, Bacchanal Jamaica, will come to a close on April 11.
