Katherine Heigl suffers an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction

There’s nothing worse than a wardrobe mishap, especially if you’re in the public eye – even more so if you’re on stage in front of a live audience.

Sadly for Katherine Heigl, fate struck a cruel blow as she was handed the Female Star Of The Year Award at the ShoWest convention held in Las Vegas.

The actress, who was honoured for her work on films including 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth, faced an embarrassing situation when one of the straps broke on her stunning red dress right in the middle of her acceptance speech.

That was until host Billy Bush stepped in and saved the day, holding her strap in place and giving the actress the chance to say a few words without worry of showing too much flesh.

After receiving her award, she went backstage and found a pin to secure the strap before heading to the photographers’ enclosure to show off her new award.

Her impressive roster of acting roles includes her five-year stint on Grey’s Anatomy, after which she broke onto the big screen with the 2007 summer blockbuster Knocked Up, followed up by her box office favourite 27 Dresses. Last year she starred in The Ugly Truth and will be seen later this year in Life As We Know It.

Kelly Osbourne covers up her newly slim figure in unflattering horizontal stripes

After losing three stone in the past year, Kelly Osbourne is feeling more confident than ever with her newly slim figure.

But after spending the past few weeks showing off her toned physique in a series of fitted outfits, Osbourne covered it up yesterday in an unflattering ensemble.

Despite being bang on trend with her nautical T-shirt and matching canvas loafers, the horizontal stripes made the reality TV star appear larger than she really is. The 25-year-old stepped out in her casual seafaring look as she joined artist friend Blake Wood and another pal for lunch at the M Cafe De Chaya in Los Angeles’s Melrose Avenue yesterday.

Sarah Jessica Parker is ready for summer in her yellow dress as she promotes Sex And The City in Vegas

Sarah Jessica Parker has always claimed her real-life dress sense is nothing like her Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw.

But as she arrived at an event in Las Vegas to promote the upcoming movie sequel yesterday, Parker opted for a dress her fashionista alter ego would have loved.

The 44-year-old actress showed off her toned legs in an asymmetrical yellow mini-dress and nude coloured heels as she joined co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon at Warner Bros. ShoWest Presentation at the Paris Hotel.

Missing out on all the fun was Kim Cattrall, who is currently starring in the London production of the Noel Coward play Private Lives.

Instead Parker was joined by Davis and Nixon, who opted for equally eye-catching dresses.

Nixon, 43, wore a brown, purple and beige shift dress, while Davis, 45, went for a rose-print pleated number.

Nixon said fans shouldn’t expect to see the foursome getting up to their old tricks from the TV series.
