August Town, Humble Lions end 0-0
In a game packed with goal-scoring opportunities, August Town failed in their attempt to register their third consecutive win against Humble Lion when their Digicel Premier League match ended goalless at the UWI Bowl yesterday.
In just the third minute of the game, Roberto Fletcher shot over the bar as Humble Lion made clear their intentions.
August Town captain Daniel Shaw, guided by interim coach Onandi Lowe, hit the near post on the 12th minute as if to signal what was to come.
Midway the first half, Denzil Watson, staring goalkeeper Devon Haughton in the face on the left, hit his shot wide of the far post in the easiest of scoring chances.
In the battle to avoid relegation, Humble Lion move up to 37 points, two ahead of August Town.
