MONTEGO BAY, St James — Preparations are advanced for rapper Knocklife to take his motivational messages into schools in western Jamaica , starting this week.

The entertainer, who describes his music as reggae rap, explains that his music contains a potent, positive message, however, he is inclined to visit the classroom, in an attempt to inculcate proper values and principles into the minds of young students.

” I want to go to schools and give them motivational speeches because I have what it takes to help them become better persons.

“Peace for the Youth , Suffering and Joy are some of the songs that the young rapper has released since he has returned to his native Jamaica several months ago.

Knocklife, who migrated to the United States from Clarendon at age four, said he as been influenced by rappers such as Nas, Jay-Z, Biggy Small, Master P and many more; in addition to local dancehall stars including Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Terror Fabulous, Buju Banton and others.
