ST JOHN’S, Antigua (AP) — South Africa beat West Indies by 1 run to sweep both Twenty20s at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium today.Scores:
South Africa won the first by 13 runs yesterday.
The Proteas scored 120-7 in 20 overs. West Indies needed 15 off the last over then two off the last ball to tie, but could run only one to fall short at 119-7.
South Africa 120-7 (John Botha 23, AB de Villiers 19; Jerome Taylor 3-14, Darren Sammy 2-16), def. West Indies (Dwayne Bravo 40, Shivnarine Chanderpaul 29; Botha 3-22 Morne Morkel 2-15) by 1 run.
