THE tourist resort of Ocho Rios is gearing up for the highly anticipated fourth staging of the Heroes weekend version of Let’s Go Dancin’. The oldies party series is set for the popular Ocean’s 11 on Saturday October 16.

The first three times around for this new concept party, were April 3 (Easter weekend); May 22 (Labour Day weekend), which both surprisingly pulled in over 400 patrons, then the Independence event on August 7 saw over 700 patrons were present.

This upcoming fourth time around will see Michael Barnett and Gladdy Parker return behind the turntables, weaving their musical magic with CDs (Parker) and vinyl records (Barnett) and according to the promoters, patrons are again in for a memorable night of top class oldies; spanning the eras of the 60s right into the early 80s and both selectors have promised no holding back.

Let’s Go Dancin’ is a new series of oldies parties, specifically designed for the town of Ocho Rios during the 2010 holiday periods and the remaining two dates for this year are October 16 and December 25 (Christmas night).
