Are 50 Cent and Chelsea Handler dating?

CHELSEA Handler and 50 Cent have fuelled rumours that they are dating, after a picture surfaced of the two of them looking cosy together at the Blue Nile Jazz Bar

in New Orleans on Sunday night.

TMZ was first to run the picture and according to the website, 50 and Handler were getting “very hot and heavy”. The rapper was at the jazz club to perform, doing a freestyle set, but it is not known why, other than to keep him company, Handler was there. The two are both known as controversial in their chosen fields — 50 as a rapper and Handler as a talk show host and comedienne.

According to, E! Online the relationship isn’t so much about love as it is lust. “It’s more of a hook-up thing whenever they are in the same town,” a source explains to E! going on to dish: “They haven’t hooked up, but she’s open to it.” Handler, meanwhile, is staying mum on the subject, promising however to address the rumours on her late night talk show.

Watch out Mariah! Ex-husband Tommy Mottola to release tell-all book

THEY were married from 1993 to 1997, and finally split after accusations of his controlling behaviour. Now it looks like Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola is finally ready to reveal his side of the story about his marriage to Mariah Carey.

In The Last Starmaker, the 61-year-old mogul will tell the story of his rise to success, from an unsuccessful singer to the head of Sony Music. Mottola is credited for discovering stars such as Beyoncé, Shakira and of course Mariah herself.

The book will apparently debunk the idea that Mottola was jealous and controlling of Mariah, saying that the problems were entirely her own and nothing to do with him, explaining that Mariah came from a ‘confusing upbringing’.

A chapter in Mottola’s book will describe how Walter Yetnikoff brought him into CBS Records, and then turned on him and attacked him in his 2004 memoir Howling at the Moon, while another will reveal the beginning of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s love affair, after Mottola found a song for them to sing as a duet. The Last Starmaker hits bookstores in 2012.

Amy Winehouse is back and says she’s been “drug-free for three years”

AS notorious party girl Amy Winehouse performed at an intimate secret charity gig at The Hawley Arms in Camden town this week, she looked fresh faced and back to her best.

Her London gig, came as she declared this week that she’s been “drug-free for three years”.

The troubled singer says she kicked her habit after an overnight epiphany, claiming: “I literally woke up one day and was like ‘I don’t want to do this any more’.” The 27-year-old told Glamour magazine: “I’m much healthier now. I used to use drugs and I haven’t used drugs in almost three years. It’s not a hard thing.”

During her latest gig, in aid of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity, she wore her seemingly favourite peach ballet slippers accompanied by three-quarter jeans and a t-shirt.

Gone was her trademark eyeliner, and even her beehive seemed smaller. So is this the new look for the now drug-free star?

Despite her claims though, the Rehab singer’s father, Mitch, told the Commons Home Affairs committee last October that Amy had only been clean for one year.

Winehouse, who is yet to release a follow-up album to her 2006 Back To Black, also spoke to the magazine about motherhood.

“I’m of the age when you start thinking about it — not seriously — but you start thinking about having kids… though I’m not going to be getting pregnant in the next nine months.”
