Necessary Luxury – Karen Vaz

My necessary luxuries are simple. I’m just that kind of girl. I’m always on the go, so I cannot live without my Digicel BlackBerry. From browsing, to scheduling my appointments, to BBM which itself is an absolute luxury, I simply can’t leave home or work without it! At the risk of sounding cliché, being an IT boss and all, my laptop is more of a necessary luxury. I have to keep on top of things, and stay in touch with my family and friends, and my laptop allows me to do just that.
There’s also my camera, because you never know when a Kodak moment will pop up! Between my iPad and my iPod Shuffle, I’m not sure which is more necessary right now, but they both play integral roles in keeping me happy along with my signature perfume, Gap’s Heaven Scent. My favourite luxury, though, is my family. They are an absolute pillar of support and I carry them in my heart wherever I go.
