THE Barrett Town police are now probing the murder of 51-year-old Errol George Hall of Barrett Hall, St James who succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, December 14, five days after he was shot by unknown assailants at his home.
The police are reporting that about 7:48 pm on Thursday, December 9, Hall drove into his yard where two men armed with handguns approached him and shot him twice. They were summoned and he was transported to the Falmouth Hospital.
However he was later transferred to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Officers at the Barrett Town Police Station are now intensifying their probe into the incident.
POLICE officers from the Kingston Eastern Division seized a quantity of ammunition at Lacruise Road, Kingston 2 yesterday.
Reports are that about 10:00 am, the police carried out an operation in the area where an unoccupied premises was searched. During the search a plastic bottle containing sixteen 7.2 cartridges was found.
The Elletson Road police are continuing their investigations.
SEVENTY-year-old Dudley Hinds of Mile End Lodge in St Ann has been missing from home since October.
Hinds is of brown complexion, slim build and about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) tall.
The Stadium police reported that he was last seen in Mile End Lodge but has not been seen or heard from since. His mode of dress at the time he went missing is not known.
Hinds is said to frequent the ocean front in downtown Kingston.
