Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds enjoy friendly lunch after marriage split

They may have ended their two-year marriage, but Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are obviously keen to keep things friendly.

The two were spotted on Saturday ‘laughing and joking’ together days after announcing their spli .

In their announcement, the couple insisted they were splitting with ‘love and kindness’ — and onlookers insist that appeared very much in evidence when they had dinner at Blue Ribbon restaurant in New York.

‘They were smiling and laughing the whole time,’ the source said, of what appeared to be obviously a ‘friendly meal’.

A source told People magazine: ‘They just wanted to connect and have a friendly chat.

‘They just wanted to sit down together. The tone was light and fun.’

However, fans hoping for them to get back together look set for continued disappointment.

‘This isn’t them reconciling,’ the source insisted. ‘This was just two people who were married being civil and friendly.’

Vanessa Hudgens celebrates her 22nd birthday alone after split from Zac Efron

Just last month she was hugging and kissing her boyfriend of four years, Zac Efron, as they waited for their car outside a hotel in Los Angeles.

But last night Vanessa Hudgens walked the red carpet alone at her own birthday party just a week after announcing their split.

The High School Musical star was at Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino to celebrate turning 22.

Luckily the singer and actress wasn’t all alone — she was joined by her best friends Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow who joined Vanessa inside the club for the party.

Vanessa looked stunning in a tight-fitting silver strapless bandeau dress and black high heels.

Inside the girls sat at a table in the VIP area and later in the night Vanessa was spotted dancing on a couch.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez set tongues wagging as they enjoy the Miami sun

They’ve denied reports they are an item.

But teen stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez certainly seem to enjoy spending time together.

They laughed and joked together as they walked in Miami yesterday, before realising they had been spotted.

So far there have been denials that the two teens are romantically linked, with Selena herself describing Justin as ‘family’.

The pair are both staying in the same plush Miami hotel ahead of Justin’s performance tonight at the American Airlines Arena in the Florida area.

According to reports, the twosome quickly scurried back to their hotel when they spotted the paparazzi waiting for them at the beach.
