Don’t sleep with criminals
Dear Editor,
When making their resolutions for 2011, some Jamaican politicians should pledge not to remain in bed with criminals. It makes no sense promising to fight crime when the leaders of crime control votes, intimidate businesses, brutalise citizens and get huge contracts from government.
Government knows the wharves are controlled by gangsters where guns and luxury goods are imported and drugs exported. The government and Opposition should purge themselves of criminally connected politicians and the police should dismiss corrupt officers who are on the payroll of mass murderers.
Happy New Year.
