TRACK OVERHAUL
A work crew installing the new synthetic running track at the National Stadium yesterday. General Manager of Independence Park Limited, Major Desmon Brown, says the workers “are making good progress and are on target to completing the installation by the end of February” and have been putting in “10-hour days and working seven days a week.” The final load of equipment, from German company BSW, arrived earlier this week.
