Mr Editor, there ought to be a law…
Sandals Whitehouse
Letters
February 8, 2011

Mr Editor, there ought to be a law…

Dear Editor,

I have seen accusations about impropriety in the sale of the Sandals Whitehouse Hotel. Yet these accusers provide no proof of any wrongdoing. No one, no matter how rich or poor, deserves to have their reputation impugned without evidence of such being presented.

I also can’t help noticing that most of those making insinuations about the hotel deal have nothing to offer by way of providing Jamaicans with jobs and earnings, but they are quick to try to break down Butch Stewart and the people who put up hard-earned money to help others to make a living and take care of their families.

There ought to be a law against such practices.

Devon Goldson,

New Market

St Elizabeth
