Jeffery Osborne for Montego Bay tomorrow
American R&B crooner Jeffery Osborne is slated to take to the stage at the Vegas Flamingo Sky Lounge at the Blue Diamond Plaza in Montego Bay tomorrow.
According to the organisers, not only will patrons fall in love with Jeffery Osborne all over again, but they can also expect be mesmerised by the allure of the Vegas Flamingo Sky Lounge that is the first of its kind for the tourism capital of Montego Bay.
“We want to bring Vegas to Jamaica,” Lance James the owner of the Vegas Flamingo said. “By bringing a big name artiste and providing daily theatrical dances and mixing different cultural band groups, we believe we can appeal to a wide cross section of society in Jamaica”.
He further added, “this is an enormous step for us because we have changed the face of gaming by introducing our advanced gaming machines to the public coupled with our entertainment venues such as the Island Black Pearl (nightclub) and the Sky Lounge (entertainment venue) we are poised for a great run”.
Jeffrey Osborne began his professional singing career in 1969 with a popular funk and soul group called Love Men Ltd. After more than ten years with the band, he left to pursue a solo career, which produced such Top 40 hits as Don’t You Get So Mad, Stay With Me Tonight, and Love Power, which featured Dionne Warwick.
Osborne’s solo career brought him five gold and platinum albums, including Stay With Me Tonight and Only Human. He also recorded an album of duets with popular singer James Ingram, and scored an international hit with On the Wings of Love in 1982.
Meanwhile, patrons will receive additional entertainment at no extra cost when Dream Girls Productions host their Fashion Show before the concert.
