Judge Judy rushed to hospital during taping of her show

Television’s legendary Judge Judy sparked fears for her health today after she was rushed to the hospital from the set of her acclaimed legal show Wednesday last. A Los Angeles fire department spokesman confirmed that the 68-year-old judge, whose real name is Judith Sheindlin, was taken by ambulance to an undisclosed hospital and was kept overnight for tests. “The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out,” her representative Gary Rosen said. Judge Judy later told TMZ: “I’m just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill.” Radaronline reported that Judge Judy’s trip to the emergency room was related to an oral surgery she underwent the previous day. “She had oral surgery late Tuesday and didn’t eat all day before the procedure and she had to take pain medication”, the show insider said. The source added: “She was told to take the day off but she said, ‘No, no, I’ll work.'” Judge Judy was a family court judge in New York for many years before becoming a TV judge in 1996. Her show has an estimated 10 million viewers daily. She is married to fellow Judge Jerry Sheindlin for over 33 years.

Green-haired Nicki Minaj steps out in unflattering leather leotard

We are used to seeing her step out in figure-hugging leotards, colour-clashing corsets and mismatching ensembles, so when Nicki Minaj arrived at an event in New York last Wednesday, it appeared she had opted to play it safe with a plain all-black outfit. But upon closer inspection it became clear she was dressed in one of her more bizarre and highly unflattering ensembles to date. The 26-year-old rapper arrived at the Green Auction at the Rockefeller Centre in New York wearing a tight black leather cat suit with black leggings and heeled boots. Nicki’s appearance from the front was quite understated for the American singing star – despite the blonde and green wig and bright pink lips – and the leotard showed off her tiny waist and her enviable cleavage to perfection.

‘I’m not gay’, insists Glee star Matthew Morrison

He’s been linked to a host of eligible celebrity women, but Matthew Morrison continues to be surrounded by gay rumours. And as he prepares to launch a pop career with a new solo album, the Glee actor, 32, laughed off long-held speculation over his sexuality. The former Broadway star, who plays teacher Will Schuester in the hit show, insisted he was single, despite being pictured kissing actress Olivia Munn at an ice hockey match last month. He told the Daily Mirror: “I sing and dance for a living and there is that connotation associated with me. I don’t care, I know my truth.”

“Does it make it difficult to get with women? No. It makes it easier. My time on Broadway was the best. There were a lot of beautiful dancers – and being one of the only straight guys… I kinda had a lot of options.” Despite leaping to international fame in Glee two years ago, the actor insisted he doesn’t receive that much female attention. Morrison said he doesn’t go out socially that often, conceding “maybe I’m unapproachable”. Last year, he was romantically linked to both Cameron Diaz and English model Kelly Brook.
