Sun-kissed Keira and her new Mr Right

Keira Knightley has appeared in quite a few love scenes in her time, but not many as convincing as this. She and her new boyfriend James Righton enjoyed a passionate clinch at a sun-drenched park near his home in East London. The 26-year-old actress has been dating Righton, 27, for five weeks after being introduced by their mutual friend Alexa Chung. Righton plays keyboards for the rock band Klaxons. The Pirates of the Caribbean actress, 26, and the keyboard player, 27, kicked off their relationship after Keira broke up with fellow actor Rupert Friend. They had been together for five years and shared a London flat near Hyde Park.

Dennis Quaid tells how cocaine addiction almost ruined his career

Dennis Quaid has spoken for the first time about his cocaine addiction that threatened to wreck his career. The Dragonheart star said the drug was so prevalent in Hollywood that it was even included in many movie budgets. Quaid said producers would make cocaine available to stars and write it off as “petty cash” on their budgets. The actor, who was formerly married to Meg Ryan, said his addiction became so bad he could only start the day by snorting a line of the drug. “My biggest mistake was being addicted to cocaine,’ said Quaid. “I’d wake up, snort a line, and swear I wasn’t going to do it again that day… meanwhile my life was falling apart,” he told Newsweek magazine. Quaid said the drug was readily available when he began his Hollywood career in 1972. His early hit films included The Right Stuff and Breaking Away. But he said his addiction began to affect his acting career and he was able to kick his drug habit in the 1990s. “Doing blow just contributed to me not being able to handle all that fame,” he told the magazine.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth head off to Belize for family honeymoon

Their wedding was very much a family affair. So perhaps it makes sense that Reese Witherspoon would want her honeymoon with Jim Toth to be the same. Whatever the reason, the 35-year-old newlywed and her husband were joined by her 11-year-old daughter Ava and Deacon, seven, as they flew off for a romantic break in Belize last week. According to a blog by a flight attendant, the family sat happily together, with make-up free Reese acting like any other mother as she tended to her “really nice and well-behaved” children. Reese and Toth’s idyllic Californian wedding last month was also family-focused. “It was always Reese and Jim and Ava and Deacon,” a guest told People magazine. “The kids were included in everything. It was very sweet. They were super excited to be part of their mum’s day.”
