Nesessary Luxury — Dylan Coke
In an age where the smartphone is the ultimate addiction, my Digicel BlackBerry Bold 2 facilitates ease and efficiency of communication with clients, family and friends. It also keeps me entertained. Thanks a million to my friends (you know who you are) whose status messages and photos on BBM keep me amused all day.
I learned from my father very early on that there are a few things a gentleman must always have on hand. He should always have a plain white handkerchief and a good pen. Even though my handwriting is awful there’s nothing better than the feel of a quality pen in hand when I’m affixing my signature on a document to close a deal. A wallet can be bulky so I sometimes prefer a money-clip, which shares pocket space with my Midas card – possibly the most useful thing I own. Jamaica is an interesting place; I never know who I’ll meet so I always carry a few business cards. And since working on the go is pretty much a given for me, my jump drive comes in handy. Finally, I like to keep my favourite pair of designer sunglasses nearby; sometimes it’s the only way to look cool when you’re under pressure.
