Wills gets immortalised on screen alongside his grandmother
Soon-to-be-married Prince William has a character in the film Cars 2 modelled after him. Creators of the film were very careful<br />when modelling Queen Elizabeth.

Wills gets immortalised on screen alongside his grandmother

In the run-up to the Royal Wedding, Prince William’s likeness has appeared on tea towels, plates and cuff links, to name but a few items of memorabilia. However , even the Prince himself wouldn’t have been expected to be immortalised as an animated Disney character . Prince William and his grandmother Queen Elizabeth have inspired two new characters in the upcoming Pixar sequel Car s 2.

The 28-year-old groom inspires the character Prince Wheeliam — a late-model Bentley Continental. The Queen is a sleek vintage car complete with its own tiara. Providing the well-rounded vowels of the Queen car is veteran English actress Vanessa Redgrave. Producer Denise Ream said the animators looked through the archives to the vehicles the real-life Queen rode in around her coronation. She said, “Specifically with The Queen’s design it took some careful stepping as we, of course, were on hallowed ground emulating a nation’s sovereign as a car.

The Queen’s design in our film is inspired by the elegant lines and paint schemes of British car designs of the finest vintage. We spend much energy on these designs deemphasising details such as driving lamps and grilles so that the absolute read of the character’s eyes and mouth can convey with maximum clarity: allowing the car to act. Official crests and shields adorn her much in the same way they did her cars in reality. I have to say we spent weeks on perfecting the tiara she wears in our film. Our special effects then made sure each diamond had a translucency and depth to refract the light just so.”

Fans of the first Cars film will see hero Lightning McQueen meet the royal cars during a trip around Europe, along with some other iconic British vehicles.

Jennifer Hudson makes an impression with bright blue eye shadow

She kept her outfit casual in a pair of denim shorts, baggy grey T-shirt and black jacket.

Still, there was nothing low-key about Jennifer Hudson’s make-up last night. The 29-year-old Oscar-winning actress and singer sported electric blue eye shadow as she returned to her hotel in the Mayfair district of London last Thursday. The choice of electric blue make-up was striking against her more subtle lipstick and loose hair.

The singer is in the English capital to promote her new album I Remember Me, and single of the same name. She was seen changing outfits several times over the past couple of days, and was spotted in more subtle make-up with a slimming black clingy dress and heels. The star is conscious that she has become a symbol of weight loss — ever since she became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.

“I feel this responsibility to the world now — people are watching, so I have to keep going in the right direction in terms of my weight loss,” she has said. “They are using me as a role model, and that keeps me inspired.”

Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge promotes bridal lingerie

It seems Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge will be well prepared for her big day. The 25-year-old debuted the new ‘Sexy Little Bride’ collection at the lingerie giant’s flagship Lexington Avenue store in Manhattan.

Holding onto the pair of ‘Just Married’ knickers, Lily was certainly getting into the bridal mood.

The stunning brunette looked incredible in a silver sequinned embellished minidress for the launch that flaunted her impeccable figure.

Spritzing some seductive scent in the air, she also showed off her engagement ring from her 29-year-old rocker fiancé Caleb Followill. Caleb is surely in for a treat on their honeymoon, as Lily is the face and body of the company’s wedding line with access to all their sexy wares.

Lily is said to have already set the date for her wedding to Caleb. The couple are expected to marry in California in early May.

Her fellow lingerie models Chanel Iman and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are invited to the nuptials, according to the New York Post’s Page Six, along Followill’s bandmates and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
