Suspected suicides in St Bess, St Ann
FIFTY-five-year-old Ranville Francis of Thatch Walk in Bull Savannah district, St Elizabeth is suspected to have committed suicide at his home between Wednesday night and yesterday morning.
The Junction Police reported that Francis was last seen alive on Wednesday about 6:00 pm. About 9:00 am yesterday, a relative discovered his body hanging by a piece of rope in his kitchen. The police were summoned and his body removed.
Meantime, Derrick Whyte, 49, from Back Street, Salem in Runaway Bay, St Ann, is suspected to have committed suicide yesterday.
According to reports from the Runaway Bay Police, about 12:15 pm, Whyte’s body was found hanging from a tree in Beverly district, Runaway Bay by a farmer, who alerted the police. The scene was processed and the body removed.
