Lucky LIME customer to get chance to see Rihanna
LIME has upped up the entertainment ante for the summer and is offering an all expense paid trip for a lucky customer on its social media pages to see the pop act Rihanna perform at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on August 5.
LIME Caribbean is the major sponsor of the Rihanna Loud in Barbados concert which will see the the Bajan artistes performing in the Caribbean for the first time in 5 years.
The company has launched a campaign where LIME social media fans will be required to ‘like’ or ‘follow’ the company online and complete a virtual scavenger hunt including videos, websites, downloads and riddles.
LIME will then reward the lucky winner who successfully completes the challenge between the August 1 – 2 promotional period.
The winner of the online activity will join winners from other LIME markets in a Rihanna VIP concert experience including airfare to Barbados, all-inclusive accommodations, and transportation.
According to regional special projects manager at LIME Stephen Price, the company is using this opportunity to reward its followers on Twitter and Facebook, while expanding its online community.
“We are delighted to offer our customers this once- in -a-lifetime experience and we will be pulling out all the stops to ensure they have a memorable experience with one of the top entertainers across the globe”, Price said.
“Currently we have thousands of fans on our social media pages and we have truly valued the opportunity to interact with our customers online and the valuable input and feedback they have given us” he added.
Rihanna Loud in Barbados is part of a three-year marketing deal the multi-award winning singer has signed with the Barbados Tourism Authority. Concert tickets were sold out within two days of the announcement of the event.
