Big fun day for Meadowbrook High School today
Students of Meadowbrook High School, past and present, are scheduled for what promises to be an exciting fun day on the school compound at 2 Meadowbrook Avenue, Kingston 19, today.
Organised by the past students body, competition will see the school’s four houses — Garthshore,Saunders,Rothnie and Ward — competing in 8-A-Side football, egg and spoon and three-legged races, dandy-shandy, hopscitch, cricket, dominoes, among others.
Garthshore house is the defending champion.
Among the past cricketers due to participate are Kevin Reese, Carlton Facey, Dirk Dewar, Maurice Minott, Devon McDonald, Stanford Brown.
In football, Noel ‘Tippy’ Clare, William ‘Billy’ Lyons, Neo Oxford, Craig White, Byron Nunez andPaul Smith, to name a few.
Past netballers down to appear on the day of sport, fun and frolic are Michelle Nesbeth and Carol Simpson.
Proceeds are in aid of the development of the Meadowbrook High School Sports Department.
Admission is $200, with children under 12 years old free.
