IN-form Jamaican 400 metres hurdler Kaliese Spencer, clocked a world best 52.79 in the London Areva Diamond League meet today. Spencer’s time was also a record for the meet.
Olympic and world champion Melanie Walker was second in a time of 53.90.
Fast rising schoolgirl Ristananna Tracy was seventh in 56.07.
Meantime, Sherone Simpson placed second behind Bianca Knight of the United States in the women’s 200 metres, while fellow Jamaican Aleen Bailey placed fifth.
