THE Foundation Alliance Française, in partnership with the magazine Courrier International, is organising an international Photography Competition under the theme ‘Planet Women’.

This competition is open to non-professional photographers. There is no age limit and participation is free.

Contestants should submit two photos, before September 9, that represent how they see women in their culture to the Alliance Française de la Jamaïque. A local jury will select a candidate whose work will then be submitted to the jury in Paris which will choose a winner from all the submissions from all the “Alliances Françaises” around the world.

The winner of the International Competition will have his/her work exhibited in a gallery in Paris and will win a week in Paris, airfare and accommodations paid.
